Meet Jody
A dedicated professional entrepreneur, business leader, educator, mentor, coach and consultant to the wide, wide world of small business.
I bring over thirty-years of knowledge and experience in business ownership to connect with my clients, and to assist with business development. This may include the creation of new revenue streams, the management of operations and finances or creative marketing solutions. I am an expert in start-ups, having started three of my own companies, and while I have been around for “many moons” as I like to say, I am 100% current in the latest trends for small business success.
As an entrepreneur with a shared sense of risk and adventure, I know how challenging it can be to keep a business strong and healthy for the long run. Inspiring leadership and communication skills enable me to traverse the management, marketing and sales terrain within any small business, helping my clients thrive in this multi-generational workforce we all find ourselves in. I am a big thinker with an empathic capacity to resonate with others.
After 30 years, my resources are vast and always updated. I am known for applying my combination of experience, humor and compassion to build professional and collaborative teams of service providers, business owners and their staff. My affiliate consulting partners can bring additional experience and talent to any project when needed.
In an ongoing effort to stay sharp and to keep the mentoring and teaching ball rolling, I was an adjunct faculty instructor at Kendall College for 11 years, where I taught Entrepreneurship & Business Planning. Currently, I hold a position on the Kendall College Advisory Board. I am currently an adjunct instructor at the Computer Systems Institute, where I am teaching Hospitality Leadership.
In my private life I am most lucky to have a wonderful family and a huge network of friends, some that go way back to grade school! At this point in my career, I am most passionate about helping others, and truly understand the benefit and value of a shared experience.
